The comedies, strongly encouraged at the "Thursday Night Football", have allowed Fox to win a lot compared to last year.

The return of Last man standing after a year of absence – and to another network – was strong.

Fox's comedy scored well for Friday night's return with a score of 1.8 in adults aged 18-49 and 8.01 million viewers. His last season on ABC in 2016-17 averaged 1.2 and 6.41 million viewers in the same day.

Most Last man standing the audience is gone for a new comedy Cool kids (1.5 in the 18-49 demo, 6.79 million viewers). They were the two best night shows among adults ages 18 to 49 by a wide margin and probably enjoyed a strong promotion at the Fox Thursday night football TV show.

The first season of The kitchen of hell fell a good amount to 0.9 but was tied with last season's average.

The first of the season MacGyver (0.7 in the demo), Hawaii Five-0 (0.9) and Blue blood (0.9) on CBS all declined a little year by year. MacGyver and Five to 0 each lost a tenth of a point from year to year and Blue blood fell two tenths.

Most recent ABC Truth and lies documentary about the Jonestown tragedy in the 1970s averaging 0.6, and 20/20 followed by a 0.7. Data line also released a 0.7 for NBC. The CW Masters of illusion was on average 0.2.

Fox's score of 1.3 among adults aged 18 to 49 for the night was almost double the average of 0.7 recorded a year ago. CBS was second at 0.8. ABC and NBC are tied for third place with 0.6. The average CW 0.2.
