Mayans M.C. unleashed a wild twist at the end of his season 1 finale: A Son of anarchy the character killed EZ and the mother of Angel Reyes.
Spoilers coming for Mayans M.C. season 1, episode 10 "Cuervo / Tz" ikb "uul."
The mystery of the murder of the matriarch Reyes was one of the oldest themes in the series. The entire story of EZ (JD Pardo) began because he had been imprisoned for killing a police officer following the murder of his mother. Since he began his life as a Mayan prospect, he is repeatedly reminded of the death of his mother.
It had already been shown that EZ had seen a green car bearing the thumbnail of a high school mascot leaving the butcher shop of his family the day his mother had been murdered. He looked and looked for the car, and the season finale, he sees what happens when he finds it.
The flashback comes after the Sons of Anarchy Redwood Orginals, the crew that led Son of anarchy, came to the Mayan club to celebrate a new agreement.
The characters of Sons of Anarchy, Happy Lowman (David Labrava) and Rane Quinn (Rusty Coones) are among the brothers who arrive, as well as a new perspective.
At the end of the episode, the prospect Sons asks EZ to help him find a beer more in keeping with his tastes. EZ looks up at the SOA member who sponsors the perspective, which triggers his photographic memory.
We see EZ hunt down the killer by driving him off the road. The man kisses the car and runs off on foot. EZ pursues him, pulling several times. A cop arrives on EZ to stop the chase. Before EZ realizes who he is, he aims and pulls the trigger, hitting the officer in the chest.
EZ then runs after the killer, who has just jumped over a wire fence. At the corner of the EZ police, he looks through the fence. The masked man removed his headgear and his face was Happy's.
The episode ends with EZ watching Happy, realizing that his mother's killer may be right around the corner.
It was a completely unexpected turn, given that the beginnings of the Happy Mayas were only a few minutes before the backfire. The murder also occurred during the original Son of anarchy calendar, and there was no mention of such a murder on the show.
We do not know exactly what will happen next, but it is clear that Season 2 will dive deeper into the murder.
