Next month, we will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of "Mrs. Doubtfire" and to celebrate the much-loved comedy on the big screen, TODAY invited some of the stars to meet on a small screen.
Fans of the film will have to wait until next month to attend this celebration, but we have the pleasure to enjoy them.
On this Throwback Thursday, here's a glimpse of the fun that comes with casting the classic movie.
NBC News correspondent Gadi Schwartz, who organized an epic reunion with the adult children of the movie "The Sandlot" in April, met Pierce Brosnan (also known as stepdad Stu), Lisa Jakub (Lydia), Matthew Lawrence) and Mara Wilson (Natalie) this week, and he shared some pictures on Instagram.
"Oh HELLOOOO! MRS DOUBTFIRE REUNION ALERT", he wrote next to a collection of photos of the meeting. "Look at how #MrsDoubtfire's kids grew up … and their step-father @PierceBrosnan could not be more proud!"
And he really thinks so.
In fact, it was obvious to see Brosnan shine to his younger co-stars in a clip on his phone.
"I love you all so much," said the 65-year-old actor in the video that he shared on Instagram.
The warm reunion lacked a few familiar faces from the 1993 film – Sally Field, who played the role of gang mother, was absent, as was the late leader who made the film so memorable, her father, Robin, and her title. Williams.
Earlier this month, TODAY had the opportunity to catch up with Jakub, who shared his memories of his work with the incredible star.
"I've learned so much from Robin," she says. "I learned how to be in the present moment.One of the things that made Robin so brilliant in what he did, it's as an actor, as an artist."
