The dead who walkAMC
It's really happened The dead who walk still had another good episode last nightthis time it was an important moment as it was the first entry of the series in the post-Rick series, this one taking place after a jump of six years (!) in the future, where many things have changed.
Spoilers ahoy, so if you have not finished the episode yet, I suggest you stay away. In particular, two huge bombs were dropped at the end of the episode I want to talk about, one of the comics, the other which has almost nothing to do.
The "timing" of the episode was not one of those twists, but probably when Carol looked sweet again, letting herself be robbed by the gang of filthy Saviors to protect her new family. And then she returns later to burn them alive so she can get her wedding ring back. It's the assaulting Carol Terminus that we all know and love!
But what I'm talking about is the breathtaking sequence at the end of the episode where we see Rosita and Eugene trying to escape a herd of strangely moving walkers. them "when they walk by.
The reaction of non-comic readers is the one I had when it happened for the first time in comics, and in particular I still remember years ago when a walker attacked somebody. One (Jesus?) On patrol with a freaking knife out of nowhere, and I almost jumped out of my seat. The idea is that the walkers take back some of their faculties, that they … become more intelligent.

If you prefer not to delve deeper into the question, come back now, otherwise I'll give you a brief overview of what's going on, which is quite a comical plot.
This is, of course, our first real introduction to The Whisperers, and a new group that carries the skins walkers and walk in flocks with them, directing them wherever they want to go. I was almost a bit disappointed to learn that "smart walkers" were not on the table, but Whisperers are their own crazy level, and we'll probably see a season and a half of conflict with them go from the front, if I had to guess the timeline of the next big TWD war. So this twist was not exactly a breaking story, but it would lead to something crazy all the same.
The second turn is perhaps more important because it's one of the things I did not see coming.
It would be the fact that when Rick died, Michonne was pregnant. And six years after her "death," she has, she seems to be five and a half years old. I think his name is Rick Junior, although we call him RJ in the series, who is adorable. This means that Rick Grimes' legacy lives on not only by Judith, but also by RJ. He may be young now, but as we have seen with Judith, we do not know where the series will go. If you tell me that AMC is planning a spin-off series in 20 years, RJ Grimes directed his own show, I would not put it in front of them.

This is just a remarkable turn of events, given how far the series has gone from the Grimes family's source material, all the while remaining true to the comics for general scenarios like Negan War and Whispers. To recap:
- Rick eventually went out with Andrea, not Michonne in the comics, Andrea died in season 3 of the series and Michonne with Ezekiel in the comics.
- Judith died at the same time as Lori, killed by the governor's army.
- Carl did not die in comics, but rather co-directed the series, and plays a key role in the Whisperer arc in particular.
- Rick Grimes may well die in comics, but he has not done so yet and he has not had children.
And yet, in the exhibition, we have Rick's ex-love, Michonne, who is raising Judith, 11, and RJ, 5 years old. What a reversal.
What this also suggests to me is that Andrew Lincoln is wrong and / or about not returning to the series. We know that he left the series to film a trilogy of "helicopter characters" distinct from the rest of the cast, which works best with his schedule, and yet I have a lot hard to believe that they would keep Rick alive and allow it. him to have another child born with Michonne and have him never find out about it. I just can not imagine that this will be the case, and even if it takes years, I have to believe that Rick will come back to discover the RJ itself. I've always thought that it would come back someday, despite this trilogy, but I think this latest development confirms it.
