& # 39; Toy Story Land & # 39; opens this weekend at Walt Disney World – here's a preview

The 11-acre lot, announced in August 2015 , includes two new attractions: Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers.

Slinky Dog Dash is inspired by the fallout of the original Slinky dog. The family walk welcomes 18 guests and travels through "Andy's backyard". The tour offers sweet sensations and lots of hills for theme park fans.

With a required height of 38 inches, the roller coaster will probably attract children. similar adults. The attraction has an official ride time of just under two minutes

Alien Swirling Saucers gives you the opportunity to ride on a "flying" saucer. The rockets are turning on a turntable that will recall some of Magic Kingdom's attractions. The attraction uses the same system as Mater's Junkyard Jamboree at Disney's California Adventure in California

A third attraction, Toy Story Mania, opened its doors to Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2008 but has a new entrance to the earth. Disney describes the attraction as "carnival game action, using virtual baseball objects to cream pies to reach targets in a variety of whimsical and fast-paced scenarios."

Disney has also recently added a third track inside the attraction to help reduce waiting times.

Woody's Lunch Box serves soda floats and sandwiches to all "honor toys" in Andy's backyard

Toy Story Land is part of the "Toy Box". a multi-year project. Disney's Hollywood Studios includes several new attractions and the highly anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, whose opening is scheduled for the end of the year 2019.

Runaway Railway's Mickey & Minnie, Mickey's first Disney-themed attraction will also open next year.
