Football balls, rejoice! We will have the opportunity to see the football match through the eyes of Peyton Manning with his new show ESPN + Detail.
Manning, in collaboration with NFL Films and Gravity Studios, will host, write and share his ideas on football. Detail, with NFL Films that rides the shows in a series of eight episodes – available exclusively on ESPN +. The double Super Bowl champion will select the NFL games throughout the current season and break down the film. The first episode of Manning's Detail will be available Thursday (October 18th) on ESPN + and will review Josh Rosen's game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, October 14th. The latest episodes should be available weekly or weekly. the 2018-19 NFL season.
The basketball version of Kobe Bryant is excellent. If the Manning edition looks like something like this, football fans will be thrilled. The first episode will be dedicated to Cardinals rookie Josh Rosen. It will be fun to watch, but here are five more quarters that must be put under the microscope of Manning for this new show …
1. Tom Brady
The greatest rival of Peyton. Both have only nice things to say about each other, but we think Manning would be a little more sincere when he looks at Brady's movie. It's not like there's a lot to criticize, though.
2. Eli Manning
I mean that's a no-brainer. I can not imagine Peyton acting too harshly for his little brother, but it will be difficult to come up with positive elements if he actually goes to Eli's movie. Can you imagine if Peyton attacked Eli? I would be subscribed to ESPN + for a year just to see that.
3. Nathan Peterman
A.K.A The Peter Man. He is the largest interceptor thrower in NFL history. I want a GOAT to break down another GOAT game. Can we at least get Peyton to break that down?
4. Blake Bortles
Manning was known for his impeccable mechanics. Bort? Not really…
I just want 30 minutes of Peyton whimpering as Bortles throws ducks into the ground. Manning also launched his duck, but he always knew where they were going. We can not say the same thing about Bortles.
On the contrary, Manning, which makes Bortles so incoherent, could finally convince the Jaguars that they have to move on.
5. Cam Newton
It's a selfish choice. I firmly believe that Newton is the most underrated pocket smuggler in the league and I would like to see my theory confirmed or belied by the best pocket smuggler of all time. Newton is much more than a simple QB, and maybe Manning would break up his game, he will finally allow people to see him.
Honorable mention: Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, Derek Carr, Mayfield Baker, Drew Brees, Philip Rivers
