Seven NYPD members, ranging from officer to detective to sergeant, have been arrested for involvement in a prostitution and gambling network in Queens, police sources said.
The cases were reviewed by internal affairs after his detectives were tipped in 2015 by an officer reporting prostitution and gambling problems in the department, sources said. They were tied to a ring and there was a specific place in Queens where arrested NYPD members had interactions.
The Queens District Attorney's Office continues to prosecute. A spokeswoman for the AD did not have an immediate comment.
