Yankees already meets about Wild Card
Boone said a few days ago that the Yankees held a big meeting – featuring the front office and the coaching staff – on how to get ready for the Wild Card Game of the A and the American League.
"We had an organizing meeting a few days ago, the first one we had from front office, coaches and myself and started to make ideas, to make ourselves heard, to think At this point, and this will be something of a conversation going on for the last days of the season, we will get closer to that, and we hope that through this dialogue and conversation we will find the best possible plan to win this match, "said Boone.
Reflections on the return of Aaron Judge
Boone said the Yankees have been thrilled so far with Judge, who does not seem particularly rusty.
"I'm happy with what I consider to be some kind of mid-season quality at-bat," Boone said. "I think his strike zone is good, I think his strike zone has been good and in many ways I do not feel like I missed a beat." Has not yet achieved massive results, but I feel like he's really hitting the ball well. "

Happ for Wild Card Game?
J. A. Happ was so good against the Red Sox. Would the Yankees want to push Wild's Wild Game Happ, so that he could possibly start twice against Boston, should the Yankees win the "to-be-or-die" match?
"I would say more about the minor side," Boone said, referring to how Happ beat the Red Sox factors in Wild Card's decision to leave. "We're going to put everything into this Wild Card game, and what gives us the best chance of winning this game is ultimately what this decision will take, and that's what we're going to do." We feel like we have a lot of good decisions out there, we feel that there are some good choices to make, which could technically be the right choice. And whatever be it, if we have the chance to overtake this game, we feel like we are in a good position to go in the next series depending on the decisions we make in this card game. But it is about winning this game. "
Surprised by rookie recruit Miguel Andujar?
Not really, says Boone.
"How keen he is, what idea he has, what teams are trying to do to him, what a particular pitcher is trying to do to him? Is hard to do," said Boone. "He is doomed for certain things, he rides there in special situations looking for a particular guy, he's smart in the box.I think it's something – I do not know so surprising but it's pretty cool to testify. "
