John Schneider and DeMarcus Ware are no longer candidates for the Mirrorball Trophy.
After seven weeks of Dance with the stars competition, the two men were eliminated from the ABC reality series on Monday. Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews, co-hosts, announced that the men were threatened alongside his competitor Evanna Lynch, but the actor and NFL star were sent home.

Despite being sent home, Ware still felt like a champion.
"I have the impression of having won every week. I learned something every week, it was amazing, "he said, alongside his professional partner Lindsay Arnold. Earlier in the night, he and Arnold had won 27/30 for their Viennese Waltz at Chris Stapleton's "Tennesse Whiskey".

Earlier in the series, Ware had explained why he wanted to be part of DWTS competition.
"By showing guys, women and everybody, you can go there and do it if you do not give up. If you stay with that, you can do what you want, "he said after his dance.
In addition, Dukes of Hazzard alum, who played Bo Duke in the comedy series from 1979 to 1985, was grateful for the time spent with pro partner Emma Slater DWTS.

It was a particularly moving evening for Schneider, moved to explain how country music and DWTS affected his life.
"What country music means to me is its three chords and the truth, and it brings to light wonderful, less wonderful and heartbreaking everyday life events," he said.
"I've been divorcing for four years now and it's awful. The worst thing is that it's between my three grown children and myself. I can not do anything except hope that someday one of my children will call me or introduce myself. I'm looking in the crowd every Monday thinking perhaps tonight, maybe tonight.
