Chip and Joanna Gaines welcomed baby # 5 during the summer, and on Tuesday they brought this handsome boy to TODAY'S HUI.
And as Joanna told anchors Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb of the 4-month-old crew, "it's a gift".
"We were talking the other day; it has (slowed down) the time we spend, "said the former star of" Fixer Upper ". "It's coming to be a gift."
Savannah did not need to convince on this. She held the little guy while he was taking a nap through the chatter and noted that have him in his arms "felt so good."
Chip and Joanna could not agree more. In fact, Chip, who made his way to the cameras at Joanna's place in the series, is so enamored of the newcomer that he would not want to have another "gift" anytime soon.
"He wants him to have a sister," Joanna said, looking a little less sure of herself. "But I love the pregnancy process. I like to give a child."
So, she did not rule that out. And it seems that the rest of the family would also be supportive of this idea.
After all, they certainly welcomed Crew.
"They are obsessed with him," she said about Drake, 13, Ella, 12, Duke, 9, and Emmie, 8. "It's really one of those things where I have to fight to hold it back."
Not that she complains. After all, they help with diaper duty, playtime and more – a lot more.
"So much," Joanna, who just released a decorating book, "Homebody," explained. "That 's why, really, the idea – not that we have more – the idea (of another baby), it just seems … so easy. When you have a gap of 8 years to this newborn, it's easy. "
This makes sense, especially for Savannah, a mother of two who could not help but think of expanding her own family with her husband, Mike Feldman, after reluctantly giving up the small crew.
"I just texted Mike:" We're going to have another baby, "she joked, holding out her phone.
At least we thought she was joking.
