Ariana Grande's new hit song about her ex has left many listeners saying, "Thank you, what?" The first time they heard it.
In the song "Thank U, Next", released this weekend, the singer talks about the people she's been dating: rapper Big Sean, dancer Ricky Alvarez, the late Mac Miller and ex-fiancé " SNL The actor Pete Davidson.
But she also mentioned a new love that has left many fans puzzled:
"I met someone else / We had better discussions / I know they say I'm going too fast / But this one will last / Because her name is Ari / And I'm so good at it.
While Grande was referring to "someone else" as being herself, Ari, many people have misunderstood the lyrics as "Aubrey".

Things got even more confusing when Apple Music classified the lyrics as "Aubrey" instead of "Ari".
Big tweeted the company to tweak the name and thanked Spotify, another music streaming service, for writing the lyrics right the first time.
Once Apple corrected the lyrics, Ari was quick to recommend them and apologize to Aubrey with a simple "sorry".
We are all about self-love. The rest of the lyrics praise the singer for all she has lived – love and life – in recent years.

But over time, we may see a collaboration between Drake – aka Aubrey Graham – and Ariana Grande?
