Thanks to Neil Adam Mark and Ben H. for the following WWE spoilers at SmackDown, which were recorded in Manchester, England. These will be broadcast tonight on USA Network and we will have live coverage of this show at 8 pm Eastern Time.
* SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon opens the show in the ring with SmackDown General Manager Paige. Shane admits that he's not the best in the world and says he's done everything he's done at the WWE World Cup tournament for the brand. Shane announces that The Miz and Daniel Bryan will be the joint captains of the SmackDown Men's Team. Bryan was originally announced, but Miz was interrupted and Shane changed his mind. Shane will also be in the team. Miz actually chose Shane to be part of the team but Shane hesitated before accepting. Shane also confirmed the series The Bar vs. The authors of Pain for Survivor
* Rey Mysterio against Andrade "Cien" Almas will take place tonight
* Usos defeated The New Day, likely to become the team captains for a Survivor Series tag team match. After the match, the Usos took the microphone and rented The New Day. Usos choose The New Day to be part of the Survivor Series team battle
* Backstage session with Daniel Bryan and The Miz to discuss Rey Mysterio for Team SmackDown. Bryan wants him in the team, but Miz says he has not accomplished anything since his return. If Rey can defeat Almas later tonight, Rey will be part of the team. They decide that the fifth member of the team will also be decided with a match tonight. Bryan and Miz will choose the participants
* SmackDown's women's champion, Becky Lynch, attends a party and looks back on the RAW promo of RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey. Becky asks Ronda who the hell she thinks she is. Becky says that Ronda is not yet a champion because she has not yet passed a real test. Becky says she's The Man and she does not care if Rousey is the meanest b — h on the planet because Becky will make Rousey her b — h at Survivor Series. Becky does not care about winning Ronda's respect in the match, only his arm. Becky launches an open challenge and the musical success of SAnitY. Eric Young, Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe are out. WWE NXT Superstar Nikki Cross is with them at a huge pop. They exchange words on the microphone and we have a match
* SmackDown women's champion Becky Lynch defeated Nikki Cross in a fun and aggressive game. Becky controlled most of the match, but it was not a squash
* Backstage segment with Daniel Bryan and The Miz. Bryan chooses Jeff Hardy for the match for last place, while Miz chooses Samoa Joe
* Rey Mysterio defeated Andrade "Cien" Almas to carve a place in the SmackDown team. Great match with "that's great" songs. Rey won with the 619. After the match, Randy Orton rushed to the ring and prepared Rey with a RKO nowhere for a big pop
* SmackDown General Manager Paige presents the women's SmackDown for Survivor Team Series in the ring. Carmella is the first. R-Truth accompanies him to the ring. Naomi is next, followed by Sonya Deville, Asuka and Charlotte Flair. Flair is about to go out but his music is just playing. Mandy Rose comes instead. Paige says Rose will not replace Flair. Rose wants to know why she was chosen for Deville. Rose dissects the other participants and a big fight breaks out. Pink retreats
* Samoa Joe defeated Jeff Hardy to win the last place on the SmackDown team. Miz and Daniel Bryan watched the match from the ring. After the match, Joe taunts Bryan and they start fighting. Bryan applies the Yes Lock but Miz separates him. Miz and Bryan are now going to do what Shane McMahon is doing the rescue. Bryan accidentally slams Shane. SmackDown leaves the airwaves with Shane, Joe, Bryan and Miz looking at each other
