A dream come true! Kelly Ripa went to social media on Tuesday November 6th to reveal that she would join her husband, Mark Consuelos, and son, Michael Consuelos, in the CW hit show Riverdale.
"It's a family affair," commented the host of the 48-year-old morning TV show on a sensual picture of her on Instagram, showing her lying in a big brown chair dressed in a slim black minidress.
"Hiram's mistress," she added, winking at Consuelos' character, Hiram Lodge, in the series. "23 years of audition for a role for which I was born. See you soon at @thecwriverdale.
Consuelos, 47, was quick to share his enthusiasm by commenting, "Yes, please."
The CW confirmed the role of Ripa in a statement to We weekly Tuesday.
