"Breaking Bad" may have had its final in 2013, but Variety confirmed that the creator of the series, Vince Gilligan, was working on a new film related to the beloved series.
Gilligan is currently working on a two-hour film, but we do not know if it's for multiplexes or television.
The details are rare, with no information on the form that the film would take – a precedent such as "Better Call Saul" or something else – or the possible return of a "Breaking Bad" star. The Albuquerque newspaper includes a logline indicating that the film "traces the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom".
The Review also reports the title as "Greenbriar", even though the final title is in the air. Production in the city of Duke is expected to start from mid-November to early February, according to the newspaper.
