As the holiday season is fast approaching, many parents dread running and plan what they need to do to ensure their children have an unforgettable vacation.
All the excitement and stress that reigns during the day lead to evenings where you just want to relax and grab an alcoholic drink. Fortunately, the national grocery chain Aldi offers a solution to those looking for a little holiday joy in the form of an advent calendar of wine.
On Wednesday, Aldi will start selling a special edition box containing two dozen bottles of wine from 187 milliliters of wine from around the world. This is a popular children's product game that helps kids count the days remaining until Christmas by rewarding them every day with little toys or sweets.
The calendar contains 12 varieties of wines from different countries of the world, including Australia, Chile and Italy.
The single box is not available at all locations; you may need to look for one if you really want it. Prices vary depending on the location, depending on national and local laws relating to the price of alcohol.
You will have to act quickly because the company said in a statement that it would not replenish the boxes once they were exhausted. There is a limit of one box per customer.
In addition to the wine calendar, the company also sells an advent calendar for cheese that will feature imported cheeses from around the world. There will be a limit of three per customer for cheese calendars.
