Bit harsh.
There are a couple of things you can do when you find an engagement ring in your fella’s nightstand.
The first is get pretty excited because somebody’s about to get proposed to. The second is panic because you haven’t actually been going out for that long and proposing right now would be wildly inappropriate.
And the third is take a picture of the ring and post it into a mean Facebook group giving out about how shit it is because ya nasty.
The above is the option this woman went for when she discovered an engagement ring in her boyfriend’s bedroom.
She didn’t like it so she decided to complain about it in public – before he’s even asked her to marry him.
Lovely.
Not good enough for her… from r/ChoosingBeggars
Writing in a group called ‘Ring shaming,’ she said:
“Ewwww, self shame Friday here I come. Found this in the BF’s nightstand. Not a fan.
“Please roast and then tell me how to tactfully say no you need to go get something different.”
Bit rude, but alright.
The post was then shared on Reddit where people took it upon themselves to absolutely tear this anonymous woman to shreds.
Maybe the ring wasn’t meant for you, like? Maybe this guy should go marry someone who actually appreciates the things he does for them and oh, is happy that he wants to spend the rest of his life with them, maybe?
Bodied.
