'Modern Family' reveals the shocking pregnancy of a character – find out who is expected

Just weeks after the Pritchetts lost one of their own, it seems like the family has a new addition to expect.

The episode of Wednesday Modern family Haley Dunphy (Sarah Hyland) discovered that she was waiting!

The news was revealed while Haley took advantage of a bumper car party with her boyfriend, Dylan (Reid Ewing), but ended up having a tube of lipstick stuck to her nose. This sent her to the emergency room, where a nurse shared the news that was upsetting life. But with the episode coming after Dylan came into direct conflict with Haley's other love, Arvin (Chris Geere), we do not know who the father is.

Hyland seemed to tease the fate of his character on Instagram before the episode. "Loop your belt for the all-new episode of @abcmodernfam tonight, it will be a BUMPY! #Modernfamily @abcnetwork adventure at 9pm / 8pm," she wrote next to the snapshots of the series.

AND recently spoke to Hyland at the No Hungry Kid event in Los Angeles last month, where she revealed that she and her boyfriend, Wells Adams, had no immediate plans to become parents – but admitted that Modern family certainly taught him some lessons on mother's life.

"There was this scene where [I’m eating] Twizzlers [and] I do not like liquorice – it makes me want to throw up. So we go up the stairs and I have to talk all the time, eat Twizzlers. I've almost thrown up three times, "Hyland said. "And there's this scene where I'm eating a lollipop and eating all the chocolate, then putting some whipped cream in the mouth, and oh my God, I've eaten all my sweets – That's a Friday night It's quite normal that I do everything by crying, looking, like "The Bridget Jones Diary".

"But when you do it because you have to do it, it amuses him and God bless Sofia [Vergara] – I love her – but she could not tell this line and I kept the whipped cream in her mouth and I had to swallow it, then I would do it again, "she added" It seems odd to me, but I am went home and I was suffering so much … I was like: "That's what adults tell you when you're a kid – do not eat too much candy, it'll upset your stomach." "And now, I'm going to be that mom who looks like," he said, "do not eat sweets."
