Terry Rozier is at the center of some early season rumor back-and-forth: The Celtics have started the season with a record 6-4 record, despite having one of the deepest rosters in the NBA. Yet a byproduct of that depth of talent will be not only minutes but salary cap figures.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, trade interest has swirled around the 24-year-old:
Quietly, at least seven teams have been monitoring Rozier 's status this season, league sources told The Athletic, waiting to see if the Celtics could begin to field trade calls. The Phoenix Suns have aggressively pursued Rozier, even before firing Ryan McDonough as general manager, league sources said.
One of the rumored reasons for Rozier's being dealt with is his unhappiness

Wednesday's rumors, however, brought in by Danny Ainge.
Ainge said in a Thursday interview on 98.5 The Sports Hub's "Touch & Rich" that he has not heard any unhappiness from Rozier.
Additionally, Ainge denied the seven-team trade interest:
Danny Ainge told us about the reports of seven teams being interested in Terry Rozier that no teams have called regarding Rozier since the season started.
