Four races in Broward and Palm Beach counties are almost certainly heading for a new account.
Pompano Beach Mayor
Of four candidates, Rex Hardin and Mike Sobel received 40.43% and 40.03% respectively. The difference of 0.4% is sufficient for an automatic recount.
Mayor of the plantation
Lynn Stoner won 30.25 percent of the vote in this five-man town hall race. Peter Tingom was second with 29.77% of the vote. The difference of 0.48% on 34 891 votes cast corresponds to an automatic recount.
West Park City Commission Seat 1
Anthony Dorsett earned 50.17% and Katrina Touchstone 49.83% of the 4,347 votes cast. Only 15 votes separate them. The difference of 0.34% between them means an automatic recount.
State House District 89
In a district that covers most of Boca Raton and Delray Beach, east of Military Trail, as well as barrier islands and the beach that runs through Palm Beach Shores, Republican Mike Caruso holds 124 voice ahead of Democrat Jim Bonfiglio out of a total of 77,862 actors. This advance of 0.16% means a manual recount in the race.
