ATHENS — In the words of Georgia football coach Kirby Smart, “They’re big, they’re physical, and they’re athletic.”
“They” are the Auburn defensive line, and Smart says “A lot of them are gonna be high draft picks,” and “it seems like they’ve been there forever.”
The challenge is clear for the Bulldogs, who enter the game leading the SEC with 222.7 yards rushing per game.
Georgia clinched a spot in the SEC Championship Game with a 34-17 win over Kentucky last Saturday, so another challenge has been for the team to maintain focus.
“Every game is relative to what you think of it,” Smart has said before, “so every time we play an SEC opponent, it’s a big game.”
