Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco injured his hip in Sunday's game against the Steelers, putting his status into question for Week 11.
Multiple sources reported on Friday afternoon and evening. Veteran reporter Jason La Canfora reports that while Flacco could try to play through the injury, surgery or "prolonged rest" seems more likely.
The Ravens are on this week, and the Canfora says the Ravens should know more about Flacco's condition next week ahead of their Week 11 game against the Bengals.
In the meantime, the team had already gone to get rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson more involved in the offense. In fact, Jackson had already taken a more active role recently, lining up the field for 27 plays the past two weeks. He had played only 29 snaps between Week 2 and Week 7.
"I do not like him on the field," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said of Jackson on Monday. "And when I say I want it on the field, it's because he's such a good player field. That's where we're at with that. "
