ISTANBUL (Reuters) – Four Turkish soldiers were killed and about 20 injured during an armory explosion in the southeastern province of Hakkari on Saturday. President Tayyip Erdogan.
The Defense Ministry initially announced Friday that 25 soldiers had been injured in an accident that occurred in Hakkari while he was shooting at the heavy weapon.
The blast occurred in a base in the Semdinli area in the Hakkari region, near the borders with Iran and Iraq, the Hakkari governor's office said in a statement.
