Caris LeVert hit a rider down the hall with less than a second left, and the Nets rallied to beat host Denver Nuggets, 112-110, on Friday night.
Remaining with 0.3 seconds, the Nuggets got a 3-point attempt against Malik Beasley's ring, but that failed them.
LeVert finished with 17 points, D'Angelo Russell had 23 points and Jarrett Allen scored 18 points for the Nets, who won three straight and four out of five.
Nikola Jokic moved away from the funk to reach the 37-point record and a career record with 21 rebounds, but Denver lost his first home game of the season after winning the first six.
LeVert had the chance to win when Jokic ran 22.1 seconds. LeVert resisted Gary Harris's tight defense, went into the lane and hit a float to win it.
The Nets scored the last 6 points of the match and returned to .500 to 6-6.
He was tied at 106-106 when Jokic blocked Allen's shot, grabbed the rebound and brought the ball back to the ground. He gave Beasley a blind pass, and Beasley signed it up to 108-106 with 1 minute 23 seconds left.
After Allen missed a hook, Paul Millsap dived to give Denver a 4-point lead, his biggest advantage of the night. The Nets tied again at 110-110 on the Allen dunk with 29 seconds to go.
Jokic, who has averaged 4.2 shots per game since early November, has been aggressive from the start. He scored his five goals in the first quarter and scored a double double at halftime with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
His 12 first-half attempts nearly equaled his total for the previous three games (13).
Denver lost 14 points, but resumed the match with an 8-0 record early in the third quarter. Murray made two free throws and was tied for 5:15 for the first time. Jokic's goal with 3:34 remaining gave the Nuggets their first lead at 68-67.
Denver pushed the lead to 3, but the Nets closed the quarter with a 11-2 record, crowned by Spencer Dinwiddie's half-time drummer.
