After lawyer Michael Avenatti stated that he was investigating "an alleged assault on a gay Latino immigrant" by Tucker Carlson In a Virginia country club, the Fox News star issued a statement denying the assault and claiming that the man had uttered insults at her daughter 's place.
Avenatti, lawyer for Stormy Daniels and the recurring enemy of Carlson, tweeted Saturday a video that seemed to show Carlson in a verbal argument with several people.
"We are investigating an alleged assault on a Latino gay immigrant, committed by T. Carlson and / or members of his close entourage in a VA club in October," wrote Avenatti. "It probably includes minor alcohol in violation of the VA law."
"We are trying to locate other witnesses and identify those described in the video," he continued. "In particular, we need help to identify the bald man who seizes the man sitting at the bar. We expect that charges will be laid. "

The lawyer has not provided any evidence to support his claims, and the video also does not appear to show that Carlson assaulted anyone.
In his statement to Mediaite, Carlson said that during his stay at the Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville, Virginia, last month, a man described his 19-year-old daughter as "prostitute" and "fucking pussy."
Carlson told his son that he had confronted the man by throwing him a glass of red wine and telling him to leave the bar. Carlson added that the club had conducted an investigation and finally revoked the man's membership.

"On October 13, I had dinner with two of my children and family friends at the Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville, Virginia. Towards the end of the meal, my 19-year-old daughter went to the bathroom with a friend. On the way home, a middle-aged man stopped my daughter and asked her if she was sitting with Tucker Carlson. My daughter had never seen the man before. She said, "It's my father," and she pointed at me. The man replied, "Are you fucking Tucker?" He called her "fucking con."
My daughter came back to the table in tears. She soon left the table and the club. My son, who is also a student, entered the bar to confront the man. I followed. My son asked the man if he had treated his sister as a "prostitute" and "conne". The man recognized the opposite and became profane again. My son threw a glass of red wine at the man's face and told him to leave the bar, which he soon did.
Immediately after the incident, I described these events to the management of the Farmington Country Club. The club spent more than three weeks investigating this incident. Last week, they revoked the man's membership and expelled him from the club.
I love my children It took a huge self-control not to hit the man with a chair, that's what I wanted to do. I think any father can understand the overwhelming rage and shock that I felt when I saw my teenage daughter attacked by a stranger. But I restrained myself. I did not assault this man any more than my son. It's a lie. I did not know either that the man was gay or latino, not that it would have been of importance. What happened on October 13th has nothing to do with identity politics. It was a grotesque violation of decency. I have never seen anything like it in my life. "
