If you plan to drive calmly Sunday morning, prepare for winter conditions.
The snow should hit the Denver metro overnight and continue all day, according to the National Weather Service.
Rainfall will likely be highest in the Greater Denver area between 6 am and 2 pm Residents of metropolitan areas could see snowfall from three to six inches by the end of the day, and snow flurries could persist early Monday morning. Those in the mountains and foothills could reach up to 10 inches in some places.
A winter weather advisory is in effect from late Saturday to Sunday afternoon for the mountains, foothills and I-25 urban corridor.
Forecasters tell people to expect bad travel conditions.
