The Qatari envoy to Gaza was filmed on camera, telling Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar that Qatar "wants peace" after paying millions of dollars in salaries to Gaza's employees.

The money was delivered to Israeli territory from Jordan via the Allenby Bridge, and then transferred to Gaza via the Erez Bridge.
The transfer was accepted after Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas refused to pay the salaries of Palestinian Authority employees in Gaza. Israel has agreed to facilitate the transfer provided it is done by the UN.
Hamas wants Qatar to give it $ 15 million a month to pay its employees in Gaza.
Israel is closely watching how the money is spent, as it is feared that Qatar's money will be used for the maintenance of the Hamas terrorist network.
