GASTONIA, NC – An Amber alert was issued for a 3-year-old kidnapped kid in Gastonia.
Destiny Boykins is a black woman, measuring about 3 feet 10 inches and weighing 30 pounds.
She has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a high polka-dot lavender and a pink edging around her neck and purple pajama pants with pictures of animals and pink socks.
Maurice Knox is the alleged kidnapper. He is described as a 57-year-old black man, 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing about 200 pounds.
He has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen with black-rimmed glasses, a red long-sleeved shirt, red pants and red shoes.
Officials said that the child had been abducted at 2079 E Hudson Blvd., apartment H, at Gastonia. They were last seen northbound from 2079 E. Hudson Blvd. possibly going to 2734 Wingate Avenue in Charlotte, Nc.
The vehicle is a 2012 Honda Accord Black with the North Carolina License Tag Number, PJF2122.
