AMBER Alert issued for a 3-year-old girl from North Carolina | surveys

GASTONIA, N.C. (FOX CAROLINA) The Gastonia Police Department issued an AMBER alert to a 3 year old Gastonia girl.

Police fired the alert around 5:31 am for Destiny Boykins.

The toddler is described as 3 & # 39; 10 & # 39; weighing 30 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

The last time Boykins was seen wearing a lavender top with polka dots and a pink border around the neck and purple pants with animal pictures and pink socks.

Police say that there would be a kidnapper involved. Maurice Knox, 57, is described as a 6 foot 1 inch man weighing 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Knox wore black-rimmed glasses, a red long-sleeved shirt, red pants and red shoes.

Boykins was abducted from his apartment on Hudson Boulevard in Gastonia, Nc.

Police say the vehicle in question is a brown Nissan Altima 2015 with license number DBL4139. The vehicle was last seen heading north from Hudson Blvd, probably toward Charlotte, Nc.
