If you need upsets to enjoy a college football Saturday, Week 11 was not for you. Everyone in the top 10 of the College Football Playoff rankings won, most in nearly drama-free outings, meaning that the third edition of the rankings won’t feature much turnover at the top. Just beyond that upper crust though, a slew of ranked teams fell for a second consecutive week, meaning a few surprising teams will find themselves on the fringe of the New Year’s Six conversation, including Texas, which survived a furious comeback from Texas Tech, and Syracuse, which cruised past Louisville.
Below, a look at all 39 projected bowl matchups and the updated College Football Playoff field through six weeks of the 2018 season. An asterisk (*) denotes that an at-large team is filling a spot left vacant by the conference under contract with that bowl.
