Tesla increases prices and simplifies options on S and X models

The first changes to be introduced concern pricing. The S 75D and X 75D models will benefit from a price increase of $ 1,000 each, up to $ 78,000 and $ 84,000 respectively. The 100D versions of these cars, which have higher ranges and do not have to be charged as often, will go down by $ 500 each. The Model S 100D will now start at $ 96,000 and the Model X 100D now at $ 99,000.

For European customers, the price of 75D versions of cars will increase by € 1,500 and 100D versions will remain at the same price.

Changes are also made to the interior options of cars. The S and X models now feature the standard "All Black Premium" cabin instead of the cheaper "Black Textile". But if you want one of the more sophisticated "Cream Premium" or "Black and White Premium" interiors, the upgrade now costs only $ 1,500 extra, up from $ 3,300 previously. Changes to the interior of cars, in particular, should differentiate the old models S and X from the third generation, much more affordable.

Other options have been made to the options of the car: the Model S has lost the panoramic sunroof and comes only with the glass roof, and no longer offers the option of seating for children facing the back. Parents wishing to travel with their children are advised to obtain the larger X model. "Black Arachnid wheels" will no longer be available at the factory, but only available in addition to the aftermarket. On the plus side, the carbon fiber spoiler is now standard on the top model Model S P100D. Finally, the X model will also undergo minor modifications, such as the discontinuation of the option for a six-seater configuration with center console.
