The Jeep Gladiator may be the name of your new Wrangler pickup truck

In recent months, many have assumed that the next version of the Jeep Wrangler, called Pickup, would call the Scrambler. But now, a "long-time trusted source" of the forums claims to have spotted a screenshot of the company's website, listing the highly anticipated launch as the 2020 Jeep Gladiator.

The screenshot of the long-standing trusted source has been emailed to us by JeepScramblerForum, which apparently has to change its name to JeepGladiatorForum soon. The source on the forums claims to have seen the name on the Fiat-Chrysler media site, listed as Jeep Gladiator 2020, both on their iPhone and on their computer browser before the list was apparently removed.

If you search for "Gladiator" in the media, all that appears is a press release relating to the 2005 Jeep Gladiator van concept. Previously, the name "Scrambler" of the new truck was assumed due to the model code designation " JT ", which he shares with the previous pickup of the same name based on Jeep.

The forums also claim to have confirmed three additional load codes for the truck, JTJL98 Sport Pickup, JTJP98 Overland Pickup and Rubicon Pickup JTJS98, suggesting that it will be finishing options.

Last month, a press release for this year's Los Angeles Auto Show mentioned the revelation of a "Jeep Pickup Truck". We will know at the end of the month if the forum has been correctly identified by the source of the forum.

Scrambler or Gladiator or whatever, Jeep will sell so many things. They could have called him the Fumbler and people would always queue to swap their regular Wranglers of 2017 against him.
