A winter weather advisory continues in most of the News 4 display area, including the St. Louis metropolitan area, at 9 pm tonight. Full Forecast below:

This afternoon: Low 30s. Cloudy and cold with snow showers in the afternoon gradually decreasing in the evening. It will mostly be snow, but some frost is possible over southeastern Missouri and southern Illinois in the late afternoon and evening. All ice must remain south of St. Louis (see chart below). The accumulation of snow will be greater on the grass, but as temperatures drop below freezing, snow will form on untreated surfaces. Watch for slippery conditions during the afternoon and evening journeys. See potential snow accumulations in the graph below.

Tonight: teenagers at almost 20. The snow ends in the late evening and a cold night with depressions at the age of 20 years.

Tuesday: 31. Sunny and cold. The lowest maximum temperature below zero for the fall season in 27 years (since 1991). Winds: West 10 mph.

There is another chance of snow Thursday morning and afternoon.
