Andrew Gillum delivers Ron DeSantis' race to governor-elect.
Tallahassee Democrat
Dubbed by some as the "Nightmare in Florida II," Floridians are not sure who will win the races for U.S. Senate, governor and agriculture commissioner.
Almost a week after Election Day, these races have sparked similarities to the Florida election recount of 2000 with George W. Bush and Al Gore.
The highlights:
• Statewide recounts for the Senate, governor and agriculture commission races.
• Gov. Rick Scott and Sen. Bill Nelson each filed lawsuits in the Florida Senate race, with Scott asking the state's law enforcement agencies in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Had also filed a lawsuit asking for the deadline for local election officials to file preliminary unofficial vote totals to the state be extended.
• Broward County needs to recount about 700,000 bales and Palm Beach County needs to recount about 600,000. At issue is a looming Thursday deadline.
• The Senate votes are counted first, followed by the governor's race and the Commissioner of Agriculture race, before a local race is tabulated.
