SpaceX receives a lot of press for leading the charge in the private space flight industry, but a number of other companies are also competing for their share of the pie. One of them is Rocket Lab, which has demonstrated its increasing prowess this weekend by launching half a dozen satellites in orbit.

In recent years, things have been going fast for Rocket Lab and the company is making great progress in putting its commercial launch plans in order. After the successful launch of this weekend, the next big test for Rocket Labs will take place in a few weeks. The company is planning its next launch for the week of December 10th.
