TAMPA, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the death of a woman in Tampa, although officials have not yet announced how she died.

Authorities received a 911 call around 3:20 pm Monday related to the discovery. The dead woman was found in a block house on W. Patterson Street.
The officials spent Monday and night investigating and prospecting the neighborhood. Investigators hope that someone in the area will come forward or that a neighbor will have surveillance cameras that will capture something.
The sheriff's office only confirms the woman's death and did not disclose any information about her or what might have happened to her.
"All those who live in this neighborhood and who have seen or heard something that has come out of the ordinary over the past few days are urged to call us at (813) 247-8200 or the" hairspray " said Col James Bradford.
The deputies said they spoke to a neighbor who had seen someone leave the house two days ago.
The investigation is underway.
