These are not the beginnings that the Sixers wanted for Jimmy Butler.
The Sixers had a huge third quarter only to allow a 21-0 run at the fourth in a 111-106 loss to the Magic in Orlando on Wednesday.
Here are the observations of the brutal loss.
You can find comments only for Butler here.
• Butler outlined some of the reasons why Elton Brand acquired it. He shot from mid-range, did well without the ball and played an excellent defense. He finished with 14 points (6 of 11) in 33 minutes.
Butler's will debut shortly, but here is his first bucket, which has just won an excellent match and a match with Embiid.
This is Jimmy Butler's first bucket as Philadelphia 76er.

• Joel Embiid cooked early. He was his usual dominant in the first period and had his best game of the season, recording his first career triple-double with 19 points, 13 rebounds and 10 career assists. He did it by only turning the ball twice. He did an amazing job of understanding the defenses and the double team and that made him even more dangerous.

He had a bad second half-time wise, scoring 1 of 10 with just three points, but it seems that even with Butler, Embiid will be a serious MVP contender.
• It seems that Redick got rid of his shooting crisis early in the season. Redick played an important role in keeping the Sixers in the first period match. The two-man game with Embiid and Redick is deadly.
He also took advantage of these three ridiculous to give the Sixers a 2-in-1 at the end of the third … and he warned the bench of the Sixers.

He finished with 22 points out of 8 on 13 of the field and 4 out of 7 of three. He made a three that could have matched the match with less than ten seconds to play, but he came out of bounds before shooting.
• You have to give a ton of credit to Fultz. After having managed the strangest free throw of Monday night in Miami, he came back and created a confident mid-range jumper during his first game preview.
A small action of Fultz rider.

Although he was removed from the starting lineup, he still has 21 minutes and eight points on 4 runs in the field.
• Wilson Chandler started at four and made his presence felt. This is the fastest match the 31-year-old combo striker has watched this season after starting the season on the board with a thigh injury.
Wilson works.

He had 14 points.
• Ben Simmons has had one of his quieter games of the season. He finished with just nine points, six assists and three rebounds. He made two huge free throws late in the fourth quarter.
• Former Sixer Nikola Vucevic continues to haunt his former team. He finished with 30 points.
