McLure said last November that she was running out of gas and that she had found herself stuck on I-95 in Philadelphia and that Bobbitt had spent his last 20 dollars to help it refuel.
The couple launched a GoFundMe campaign to pay him back and help him get back on this 35-year-old resident of North Carolina while the story drew the country's attention.
The relationship between the couple and Bobbitt deteriorated after filing a lawsuit in September, saying he had not had full access to the funds.
