The peaks went bad and ended up in Loser-ville last week.
After two good weeks, I had a bad week in front and against the gap. It is time to regroup.
Again.
It seems like it has been a trend of the season. I start to get hot for a week or two, then go straight back to the dumpster.
This week features the game of the year – for the moment anyway – the Kansas City Chiefs heading to Los Angeles to play against the Rams. Both teams are 9-1 and feature high flying offenses.
The first to 40 wins.
With this game now in Los Angeles due to poor field conditions in Mexico City, where the match was originally scheduled, I like that the Rams are gaining offensive shots. They will reach the top 40 and will be the only team to get there.
But enjoy it. It will be a treat for those of us who like this kind of thing.
Packers at the Seahawks (-2.5)
It's another tough game on the road for the Packers, who lost the last two on the Rams Road and Patriots. The Seahawks are not in the same class with these two, but the challenge is tough on Thursday night. Even then, I think Aaron Rodgers will have a good day throwing it and the Green Bay defense will limit the meeting in Seattle.
To choose: Packers 28, Seahawks 21
Bengals at Ravens (-4)
The Ravens have not yet decided who would play with quarterback Joe Flacco, injured in the hip. It could be Robert Griffin III or rookie Lamar Jackson. Those who play will face a terrible Bengal defense, which led to the dismissal of coordinator Teryl Austin. Coach Marvin Lewis will take over the defense. This will not matter. The talent is not there. Ravens will not win any player who plays the quarterback.
To choose: Ravens 26, Bengals 20

Vikings in bears (-3)
The Bears are at the top of the NFC North, but they have not beaten many good teams. It's a good team coming bye-bye that she will face this week. The Minnesota pass will take place after Mitch Trubisky and will cause some turnovers that make the difference in this game. The Vikings take first place in the division.
To choose: Vikings 21, bears 17
Panthers (-4) at Lions
The Panthers play consecutive games outside the division, which is a major challenge. The Lions looked terrible to lose to the Bears last week. The offensive line is in trouble – and that's nice. Look for the Panthers to get back on the track and win a road game.
To choose: Panthers 33, Lions 21
Titans in Colts (-2)
This is a great game for the playoff opportunities in the division. The Titans have just won an impressive victory over the Patriots. Andrew Luck played the Colts well. Look for the chance to continue doing it here as the Colts continue to progress. Colts win it.
To choose: Colts 24, Titans 17
Cowboys among the Falcons (-3)
It's a game of elimination. The loser is almost finished. The Cowboys play consecutive games on the road, after a difficult and moving victory against the Eagles. The Falcons are at home for the first time in three weeks and play much better. This can be seen. Matt Ryan has a great day.
To choose: Falcons 27, Cowboys 23
Buccaneers at the Giants (-1)
The Giants fought the 49ers last week, which is a good sign for Pat Shurmur. The Bucs have all kinds of problems and know they will have a new coach next year. Look for the Giants offensive, which cleaned up last week, to have another good day here. The giants take it.
To choose: Giants 33, Bucs 23
Eagles at Saints (-9)
If the Eagles have the opportunity to repeat themselves, they must do it. The problem is that they are so stuck in a high school that has to defend themselves against Drew Brees at home. This is a problem. Still, I think Carson Wentz and the Eagles are going to keep them in this game.
To choose: Saints 32, Eagles 30
Texans (-3) at Redskins
It's a huge game for two division chiefs. The Redskins are decimated by offensive injuries that will come against a good defense of the Texans. But Washington's defense is wearing this team. Look for a little game that is close. Washington wins it.
To choose: Redskins 19, Texans 16

Broncos to the chargers (-7)
The Chargers play well and can be a real factor in the AFC playoffs. The Broncos have just passed a leave that followed a defeat and they hope to be directed to a coaching change. The Broncos can still squeeze the passer, but it sounds like a game for Melvin Gordon going wild to help neutralize the race.
To choose: Chargers 28, Broncos 19
Raiders at Cardinals (-4)
Raiders think about traveling to Cabo. The cardinals still seem to be fighting. Josh Rosen improves from week to week and this will manifest here. The Cardinals will defeat a team of Raiders beaten.
To choose: Cardinals 27, Raiders 21
Steelers (-5,5) at Jaguars
The Steelers are at the top in recent weeks and are resting after playing last Thursday. The Jaguars are messy. But there is still a lot of talent in this formation that beat the Steelers twice last year. They will not beat them anymore, but they will stay focused on them with a sustained effort on the part of the defense.
To choose: Steelers 24, Jaguars 21
Heads at Rams (-2.5)
This match was transferred from Mexico to Los Angeles for the conditions of the field, which is an advantage for the Rams since it was their home game anyway. This should be a shootout with a ton of points. I think the Rams at home will get the most out of it. Jared Goff lights up the Chiefs and wins his duel with Patrick Mahomes.
To choose: Rams 40, Chiefs 34
