Rondo (main) underwent surgery on Thursday and is expected to miss four to five weeks.
Rondo suffered a third metacarpal fracture in his right hand in the 126-117 win Wednesday against the Trail Blazers. The veteran is averaging 8.5 points, 6.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals this season, moving to a bench, with Lonzo Ball having started his last 12 games. In the absence of Rondo, looking for Josh Hart and Lance Stephenson could see their time increase.
