Pornstar Stormy Daniels' lawyer in her legal battle with President Trump lost an eviction lawsuit from his law firm in Newport Beach, California on Friday.
A judge of the Orange County Superior Court confirmed an order in October ordering the high-ranking prosecutor and his aides to leave their offices, ordering them to leave on Monday, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The law firm Eagan Avenatti had not paid rent for four months – more than $ 213,000 in total – which prompted the owner to sue and be deported.
Avenatti told the newspaper that the deportation "did not matter" as the law firm was already moving out.
Avenatti was arrested in Los Angeles on Wednesday for suspicion of domestic violence. It is unclear who was involved in the alleged incident, and Avenatti characterized the charges as "completely false".
"I have never been a victim of physical violence in my life, nor last night. Any accusation to the contrary is fabricated and made to harm my reputation. I am looking forward to being fully exonerated, "he said in a statement issued by his law firm.
