Florida MPs stopped traffic on Wednesday to intercept driver after driver who had passed a stopped school bus on a multi-lane highway, and a video of the incident was viewed more than 10 million times.

This video shows a spectator and her mother, Monica Douglas, screaming with joy (sometimes profane) when the deputy ministers of Pasco County Sheriff arrest the drivers, WFTS-TV reports. Douglas has published numerous articles on social networks about drivers who did not stop to take the school bus at this stop.

"Go get them, boys!" Douglas shouts into the video as the deputies introduce themselves to the ticket drivers.

Pasco's sheriff's office posted a separate video Thursday showing body images recorded by the action. In this video, MP Justin Smith blocks traffic and orders the many vehicles that passed the stopped school bus to stop.

In Douglas's opinion, it is clear that motorists continued to overtake the school bus, even though deputy ministers blocked traffic further down the road. Douglas taunted motorists as traffic slowed down, wishing tickets for all.

The Pasco Sheriff's Office released a social chart on Thursday to explain Florida's laws regarding school buses stopped on multi-lane highways. It turns out that all traffic in both directions must stop for a school bus unloading children, unless there is an unpaved median or a barrier between traffic lanes.

"It's to protect children who are unloading from the bus … These enforcement measures will continue," the sheriff's office said.

MEPs quoted 30 drivers in two days, WFTS-TV reported.

The school district that operates the bus stop has responded to critics who have asked why a bus stop was located on a busy highway in a statement issued by the station: "We can not unfortunately avoid a bus stop. set up bus stops on busy roads … No Students cross these roads to get to their bus, however, including at the stop in question. We always take the "side of the door". "

Douglas posted videos of the bus stop for months, claiming that she and other mothers were trying to educate the public about the potential dangers of the place. She announced in September that her friend was fearing for her daughter's life while she was getting on a bus.

Douglas cited incidents related to school bus stops, such as the plane crash that occurred in October, which killed three children in northern Indiana, as a cause of his concern.
