The DC / CW Elseworlds crossover gets its own comic book cover

It is quite fitting that Grant Gustin and Stephen Amell put each other in costume – and, oh, as the arrival of Batwoman herself on TV– is marked with its own cartoon cover.

Last years Crisis on Earth-X has apparently launched a new tradition for the now-annual celebration of the CW, which is to gather all the heroes of DC: create a cartoon ouroboros by giving these live versions of comic characters their own special cover. This year, DC revealed that artist Amy Reeder was tasked with bringing together Other worlds of life, and it's a delightful mix of our heroes and the sinister villains that seem to be behind this multiverse bickle.

In addition to representing Supergirl, Superman (not in her new black suit), Batwoman and the pinned versions of Green Arrow and Flash, the cover includes LaMonica Garrett hiding in the background as a Monitor, and our first overview from the character of Jeremy Davies Doctor John Deegan, a mysterious character who works at Arkham Asylum and who is apparently the catalyst that brings our heroes together and goes to Gotham in the first place.

Even if it was not so often the atmosphere "Everyone is here!" Phil Jiminez art created for Crisisit is always a beautiful little blanket filled with pretty nods, even to borrow Other worldsTitling comics. Alas, it is only promotional art, there is no comic: you have to wait until Other worlds started The flash December 9th.
