While the page of the event said "Any violence, racism or hate speech by any group or individual is extremely forbidden", clashes have been reported while groups like the far right Proud Boys clashed with counter-partners, some of whom belonged to anti-fascist groups. Antifa group.

An event page devoted to a counter-campaign on Facebook said: "The people and allies of Philadelphia must oppose this escalating push of the far right in the culture and politics of the city."
According to reports, about 25 people came to participate in the planned rally, but this number was reduced to a minimum in relation to the number of counter-candidates. The event took place around 2:15 pm, with the counter-partners chanting "Do not come back!" as the participants left.
However, it appears that clashes have been reduced to a minimum and no significant injuries have been reported. The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that at least one person had been arrested.
The Philadelphia Police Service did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Hill.
