David Arquette was seriously injured during a late night game in Los Angeles that forced him to leave the ring as blood ran down his neck.
Arquette – who became WCW World Heavyweight Champion in 2000 to promote his "Ready to Rumble" wrestling movie – faced World Wrestling Combat World Champion Nick Gage at the event GCW confidential Joey Janela LA, Friday. Gage hit him with a bulbous tube, and the blow caused a cut in Arquette's neck, which began to bleed profusely.
The actor then signaled that he was leaving. He returned to the ring shortly after, but according to PWInside.com, he later went to the hospital where he had several stitches.

Arquette did not immediately respond to TheWrap for a comment and a status update.
