Former President Barack Obama has virtually demolished the house at Michelle Obama's books exhibition in Washington.
The former first lady is currently touring the country to promote her memoirs, "Becoming", and participated in an animated conversation Saturday night by her long-time friend and former Obama adviser to the White House, Valerie Jarrett.
When the conversation shifted to Mrs. Obama's feelings toward her husband, Jarrett announced a "special guest" and Barack Obama came on stage carrying a bouquet of pink roses for his wife.
The crowd at the Capital One Arena has risen up.
Jarrett asked him what about Michelle Obama when she met at a law firm in Chicago where she was his mentor.
Barack Obama said that she was "one of a kind", strong and honest, and that he always trusted his confidence.
He also stated that he knew that if she was the mother of her children, their offspring would be "extraordinary".
