More than 56 years after her death, Marilyn Monroe still goes into history.
On Saturday, the price of the latest Golden Globe star was auctioned at $ 250,000 – the highest price ever paid for a Golden Globe auction, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Monroe bought the car directly to the factory in 1955 and led it with his playwright Arthur Miller at their wedding in 1956, Fox News reported.

The auction, entitled "Icons and Idols: Hollywood", was entrusted to Julien's Auctions of Los Angeles. The same event also featured articles by famed costume designer Bob Mackie, Marvel Comics creator Stan Lee, and movie costumes worn by stars such as Tom Hanks and George Clooney.
A copy of the 1962 comic, signed by Stan Lee and covering the first appearance of Spider-Man, is sold for $ 38,400, according to the report.
A previous auction of Marilyn Monroe's articles had been held in Britain in September. The sale included a typewritten receipt from the Monroe psychiatrist, on personalized notepaper, only six weeks before the death of Monroe in 1962 at the age of 36.
