SAN FRANCISCO-UTAH Utes will represent the South Division of the Pac-12 division in the eighth annual Pac-12 football game on Friday, Nov. 30, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Utah (6-3 in South Pac-12, 8-3 overall) beat Colorado 30-30 earlier in the day, while he had to wait for the outcome of the Arizona State-Oregon match , Saturday night.
Arizona State entered Saturday in the game controlling its own destiny. If the Sun Devils win their last two games, they would represent the Pac-12 South in the championship game. However, Oregon wiped Arizona State's hopes with a 31-29 victory at Autzen Stadium, pushing Utah into its first-ever participation in the Pac-12 football championship game.
Utah, who ends the regular season with a non-conference clash next Saturday against BYU, will meet the winner of the Apple Cup next Friday between Washington and Washington State.
