It's so amusing to see little Adam Schitt (D-CA) talk about the fact that Acting Attorney General, Matt Whitaker, has not been approved by the Senate, without mentioning the fact that Bob Mueller (who is very conflictual) has not been approved by the Senate!

Earlier Sunday, Schiff – who will likely be the next chairman of the House of Commons Intelligence Committee – said the Democrats would contest Whitaker's appointment.

Mueller, the special advocate responsible for the investigation of the Ministry of Justice on Russian interference in the elections, does not need to be confirmed by the Senate. The Attorney General, who is confirmed by the Senate, appoints special prosecutors.
"Do not talk to me about Whitaker because Mueller was not confirmed by the Senate, and in fact, Whitaker," said the president earlier this month.
The Senate unanimously confirmed that Mueller had been appointed director of the FBI in 2001 and 2011.
The Senate confirmed Whitaker in 2004 as a US lawyer in Iowa, a position he left in 2009.
Schiff later responded to Trump's tweet and had his own search.
"Wow, Mr. President, this is a good example, did it resemble your answers to Mr. Mueller's questions, or did you write this yourself?" Schiff wrote referring to reports that Trump's lawyers wrote Trump's answers to Mueller's written questions.

Whitaker has also been criticized for his earlier criticisms of Mueller's investigation. He is now supervising the probe.
Previously, Whitaker had claimed to believe that the investigation by the special advocate, which includes an investigation into the links between the Trump campaign and Russia, had gone "too far". He also suggested one day that the special council be disbursed.
Schiff also said in ABC's "This Week" Sunday that the Justice Department's succession law should have prevented Trump from naming Whitaker.
"So it's a flawed appointment, but the biggest flaw of my point of view, is that it was chosen to interfere with Mueller's investigation," he said. Schiff said Sunday.
