SCOTTSBORO, Alabama – A man suspected of raping a 16-month-old boy was arrested Sunday, the Tennessee Investigation Bureau said.
On November 15, the BIT added Simon Dean, 33, to his most wanted list.
Police in Scottsboro, Ala., Arrested it Sunday after one person saw Porter and alerted the authorities, according to WHNT information.
Porter had been wanted for rape of aggravated rape on a child after police in Lawrenceburg had said that doctors at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center had informed him of the crime.
Police said the incident occurred on November 10 and used social media images to help capture him.
The link has not been defined. Porter will be extradited to Tennessee.
The investigators did not announce any additional costs.
