SCOTTSBORO, Alabama – A man accused of raping a 16-month-old boy was arrested, according to the Tennessee Investigation Bureau.
Simon Porter was arrested after the authorities found him in Scottsboro, Alaska, the TBI announced on Twitter on Sunday.
Porter, 33, was wanted by the Lawrenceburg Police and the BIT for raping a child.
The BIT offered a reward of up to $ 2,500 for information capturing Porter. The application project also offered a reward of $ 1,000.
The authorities were informed by a local doctor who examined the child, reports the WTVF. The boy was then taken to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
